lookie lookie lookie what i got this week!!! yay!!! i will refrain from actually typing out the wonder pets theme song, but know that i am humming it now, as i type… my schoolhouse heroes figure pack is quite the new favorite thing of mine – despite the fact that turtle tuck looks a little …. um….distressed.

in any event, what a couple of days, huh? i am so glad the election is over, and that it was called without much stress and strife ala 2000…

work is ok, i am still beat. still hurting. in fact, i have back slid into the sleeping on tennis balls (excellent trigger point pokers) and coating my right shoulder and arm in ben gay patches. PT is kicking my ass – did i mention that? and the weather has turned quite funky and i am just full of every excuse in the book to NOT be running and NOT be going out and about and eating something instead so that i can spend the first half of each day calling myself some variation on lard butt in my head.

i actually do feel so relieved that the election is over. i think i would’ve been feeling the same sense of relief even if mccain had won, simply from the whole process of just being DONE.

on the way to work this morning, i thought i simply must request january 20th off – not JUST to celebrate my brothers birthday! – but, i live like 2 hours outta DC. i think i want to be there!
